Our winters off to a good start. It's not even Christmas yet and we've already had two decent snowfalls. Yesterday we got about 8" worth. It was sort of a bummer because we had lots of plans that were canceled but it was also pretty cool to just be home baking cookies and watching the snow fall. Hazel was very excited. Today we were out playing in the snow of course. Clara kept insisting on the creation of a snowman despite the lack of proper snowman making snow (the wet kind not the light and fluffy stuff). We managed to create a small one. You can see some photos here - http://gallery.me.com/brydeemer#100054
We had 12-14", and it was perfect powder... nothing could be made from it. Griffin did one lap around the house and got very upset at falling into it and getting it inside his gloves... then went back inside. Poor kid. I guess that's what happens when the snow is almost waist deep in places.
